Cafe Vesuvius: Where Flavor Meets Comfort in Marblehead

Some of my favorite pizza on the north shore. Underrated. The regular cheese pizza would hold up in NY, even better than most. Sandwiches are great too. Can’t go wrong.

This place is awesome and I get it 5 stars all around. The staff and the food are awesome. They are very fairly priced and have a great variety of delicious toppings. They have awesome cheese pepperoni or even ravioli pizza if you're up for it it is heavenly!! I have never had a bad piece of pizza here and I am delighted to write a good review that is the least I can do. Staff is so accommodating and polite very helpful and fast service and for diamond also if needed.I work locally doing HVAC and we come in here a lot and we recommend it to anybody who wants a great slice of pizza. This is one of the best Italian style pizzeria places in the area I highly recommend it to anybody.5 STAR EXPERIENCE, thank you Vesuvius you rock!!!!

If I could give this place a 10 star review out of 5 I would have. These folks are awesome! They went above and beyond to make this delivery special. To make the long story short, we live in PA and today (6/7/20) would have been my nephews high school graduation. To celebrate our family had a “Zoom Graduation”. We wanted to make it special so at the last minute I had decided to order him a pizza and have it delivered to his house. I never expected how EXTRA-special Café Vesuvius made this pizza delivery! They accommodated my weird pizza order all the way from PA. I specifically asked them if they could write, “Happy Graduation…” (as pictured). You should have seen his face light up on the Zoom call… “there’s a man at the door with a pizza”. I hope in the near future I have the opportunity to dine at this restaurant . The customer service is exceptional and delivery timely. Though I did not have the chance to taste the pizza myself, judging by how quickly my nephew downed three pieces I would have to concur the that taste/flavor was equally exceptional…YUM! Thank You Café Vesuvius!

Great food. Courteous and friendly staff. The owner, Bart Freddo, has gone above and beyond in personally helping out with birthday party deliveries. And the buffalo chicken pizza is hard to describe. Delicious is an understatement.

Awesome pizza some of the best around in New England The staff is always great very friendly. From the owner to the really nice cool and helpful Latin guy behind the counter and the whole staff in general food is out of this world great service cheap prices in and out without an issue every time Thank you guys. It's funny how I have to drive all the way from the Revere/East Boston area all the way to Marblehead to get pizza one of the best pizzas around hands down

Always great food, friendly staff. Have been going there for quite a few years now and never have I been disappointed by them. I would definitely recommend Vesuvius!

Long time Marblehead pizza staple. Whole family loves it here. They do have gluten free options available for crusts but they still cook it in the oven on the rolling rack. The same rolling rack that is used for all the other pizzas. If you are someone with a gluten allergy (like me) even a little flour will make you very sick. I tried the gluten free pizza option (and not thinking of the oven) I ended up and getting very sick. I can no longer go here for myself. The regular pizzas are amazing and I will still get the regular pizza for the rest of the family.

Some of the best pizza I've had around Boston. They do hire a lot of young people in high school or college, so I understand the customer service is not the best. Just be ready to repeat yourself many times for the young people taking your order. But the pizzas are delicious and worth the lack of conversation with the young staff.
